The 7 Most extreme water slides in Spain (RANKED)

Spain is home has some of the most extreme water slides in the world.

If you love getting your adrenaline pumping, then this post is for you!

Below we list out the top 7 slides at different water parks throughout Spain (including the Balearics and Canary Islands).

Enjoy!

(PS – I’ve been to all the rides at water parks across Spain…but when taking on the #1 on this list, I’ll admit my knees were wobbling!)

1. VertiGO (Aqualandia, Benidorm)

Aqualandia in Benidorm is home to VertiGO.

It’s a 33m almost vertical drop. This makes it the tallest slide in Europe and the tallest capsule-water slide in the world.

Riders experience an almost free-fall sensation before splashing into the pool below.

(Trust me – it’s a rush!)

2. Tower of Power (Siam Park, Tenerife)

Siam Park is widely recognized as one of the best water parks globally.

For thrill-seekers, it does not disappoint.

The Tower of Power is the park’s most famous slide, with a 28m near-vertical drop that sends riders through an aquarium filled with sharks and rays at the end.

The Dragon offers a zero-gravity experience with high-speed turns inside a massive funnel.

While not the highest in Spain…it’s definitely the most unique!

3. White Fall (Aquashow Park, Algarve)

Ok, it’s not in Spain…but if you’re holidaying in Huelva it’s a 1-2 drive and well worth it!

Aquashow Park offers some of the most intense water rides in the Iberian Peninsula.  The most famous is the “White Fall” – it’s an extreme slide with a steep incline that creates a weightless feeling before plunging down.

4. The Beast (Western Water Park, Mallorca)

This Wild West-themed water park in Mallorca is a haven for thrill-seekers.

The Beast is one of the park’s biggest draws (the yellow slide above) with a near-vertical drop that makes it one of the steepest water slides in Spain.

At 28m it’s not quite as high as VertiGO or the Tower of Power…but if you’re holidaying in Mallorca, it’s good enough!

5. King Khajuna (Caribe Aquatic Park, Tarragona)

Caribe Aquatic Park is known for its towering slides and high-speed rides.

King Khajuna is the standout attraction. It’s a 31-metre freefall that rivals some of the tallest slides in Europe.

Again…Aqualandia’s VertiGO is still the tallest in Europe at 33m. But if you’re in the Castellón or Tarragona areas of Spain, the King Khajuna isn’t bad!

6. Salto del Diablo (Aquarama, Benicàssim)

Aquarama may not be as famous as Siam Park, but it delivers some of the most extreme water rides in Spain.

The Salto del Diablo is one of the highest kamikaze slides in Europe (30m) with riders reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h as they plummet down.

7. Xtreme Fall (Illa Fantasia, Barcelona)

Located near Barcelona, Illa Fantasia offers a few extreme slides perfect for those craving a rush.

The “Xtreme Fall” slide does what it says on the tin. It has a nearly vertical drop, followed by the biggest inclined loop in southern Europe.

So there you go!

Whether you’re looking for record-breaking drops, near-vertical slides, or intense speed coasters, these water parks provide some of the most extreme water attractions in Europe.
