With growing emphasis on technological innovations, these parks are places to chill out or get the adrenaline pumping (if it’s your thing!).

Here’s our ranking of the top 10 water parks in Spain for 2025.

1. Siam Park (Tenerife) 

Location: Costa Adeje, Tenerife

Season: All year

Ticket prices: Adults €42/ pers, Children €30/ pers

Siam Park is an unmissable experience.  

It’s ranked as the best water park in the world with Trip Advisor naming it world number one for 10 years in a row!

Its main draw is Thai-inspired architecture, record-breaking rides like the Tower of Power, and the impressive Wave Palace wave pool. Great for thrill-seekers and families alike.  

Some of the best attractions include:

  • Mai Thai River (lazy river)
  • Siam Beach
  • “Sea Lion” Island (with real sea lions – no swimming with them though!)
  • Naga Racer (race each other on foam mats)
  • Jungle Snakes (2-people water tubes)
  • The Lost City (children’s play area – and only pool made for infants in the Canary Islands)
  • The Wave Palace (wave pool)
  • The Giant (water funnel slides, the biggest in the world)
  • Coco Beach (children’s wave pool)
  • Singha (high-speed water coaster slide)
  • The Vulanco (XXL water funnel in pitch black)
  • Saifa (high-speed race water coaster)
  • The Tower of Power (28m high slide reaching up to 80 km/h + giant aquarium)

If you’re in Tenerife, this one’s a no-brainer.

2. Aqualandia (Benidorm)

Location: Benidorm, Alicante

Season: May-September (check website for specific dates as it can change)

Ticket prices: Adults €35/ pers, Children €27/ pers*

*There’s a slight discount on prices if you purchase online, and if you purchase group tickets. Also, we have found that local petrol stations and some shops have flyers for Aqualandia with special time-sensitive discounts. Do have a look to save a little more!

Aqualandia is known for its extreme slides like VertiGO, one of the tallest capsule slides in the world. It has two separate slides and the taller one (33m high) is the tallest in Europe.

But there’s also much more to do:

  • “Amazon” lazy river
  • 4-person “cyclone”
  • Zebra-coloured zig-zag slide
  • “Laguna” area for kids
  • Wave pool
  • Grand jacuzzi
  • Smooth slides
  • Rapids
  • Geysers
  • Big band (multiple drop-offs – adrenaline junkies only!)

If you’re in Benidorm or anywhere in the Costa Blanca (north of Alicante, south of Valencia) this is a top choice.

3. Aquopolis Costa Dorada (Tarragona) 

Location: Salou, Tarragona

Season: June-September (check website for specific dates as it can change)

Ticket prices: Adults €22/ pers, Children €18/ pers*

*There’s a slight discount on prices if you purchase online, and if you qualify for a discount (there is a discount for single-parent families but you’ll need an official Spanish certificate). Check online for more info.

Located near Salou (just south of Tarragona) this park is great for families.

Highlights include the Boomerang, a half-pipe style ride that gives you a sensation of weightlessness. The park also features a large area for young visitors to enjoy a safe and exciting water adventure.

Dolphin encounters provide an added touch of marine life education. 

The best attractions include:

  • Black hole (dark water slide)
  • Vulcano River (lazy-style river on inflatable tubes with rapids)
  • Maui Lagoon
  • Splash slide with foam mats
  • Boomerang
  • Wave beach
  • Funny Jungle, Mini Park & Turtle Adventure (for kids)
  • Speed Race
  • Kamikaze (intense slide)
  • Magic Oval (4-person tube slide)

Tarragona is just over a 1-hour drive from Barcelona and a 2-hour drive from Castellón. If you’re in or around Benicassim, Peñiscola, or Alcossebre, then this will be the closest and best water park for you!

4. Western Water Park (Mallorca)

Location: Magaluf, Mallorca

Season: June-September (check website for specific dates as it can change)

Ticket prices: Adults €33/ pers, Children €25/ pers*

The Western Water Park is the top waterpark in Mallorca. It combines Wild West-themed attractions with fun and family-friendly rides.  

The Beast is a high-speed freefall slide and is definitely what the park is known for. It’s a 30m vertical drop – just 3m shy of Aqualandia’s VertiGO (Europe’s tallest slide).

Other attractions include:

  • Boomerang (a 15m half-pipe with a 2-person rubber ring)
  • Huracán (2-person dark water pipe)
  • Crazy Horses (6 tracks and a 40m race on foam mats)
  • Daky Park and Coyote Park (children’s splash areas)
  • La Ponderosa playground
  • Gran Canyon (4-person rubber ring slide)

Visitors can also enjoy live Wild West shows, making this park an entertaining experience beyond the water attractions. 

5. Aqua Natura (Benidorm) 

Location: Benidorm, Alicante

Season: March-November (check website for specific dates as it can change)

Ticket prices: Adults €38/ pers, Children €32/ pers* 

*There’s a €9 discount on adult prices if you purchase an “afternoon” entrance. Children under 4 go free. We found a discount voucher in a local petrol station – well worth looking out for!

Aqua Natura is ideal for families, featuring lazy rivers, wave pools, and educational encounters with sea life. It’s close to Aqualandia but managed by a separate company and with a different range of attractions.

The park prides itself on its sustainability initiatives, using filtered seawater and solar-powered heating systems.  It’s a great choice for visitors looking for an environmentally conscious water park experience. 

Attractions include:

  • Ohana Splash (300m2 play area for children and families)
  • Adventure Island (1400m2 play area for children and families)
  • El Ojo de Las Cícladas (water slides for children)
  • Sea lions (children can swim with them)

Aqua Natura and the Terra Natura Zoo are managed by the same company, meaning you can purchase entrances for both parks at a slight discount.

6. Aqualand Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) 

Location: Maspalomas, Gran Canaria

Season: All year

Aqualand Maspalomas is one of the largest water parks in the Canary Islands, with a mix of thrilling slides and leisure pools.  

The Mamut slide is probably its most famous attraction. It’s a 3-person slide with a rubber ring and lots of drops.  The park’s Kids’ Adventure Area is ideal for families with younger children, offering miniature slides and splash zones. 

Further attractions include:

  • Mamut (3-person slide with a rubber ring)
  • Speed Boats (2-person rubber ring slide)
  • Kamikaze (vertical drop)
  • Tornado (2-person water funnel slide)
  • Skull Bay & Polynesia (water parks for kids)

7. Caribe Aquatic Park (Tarragona) 

Location: Salou, Tarragona

This Caribbean-themed park features top-tier water attractions like King Khajuna, one of Europe’s highest freefall slides.  It also boasts a pirate-themed play area, multiple lazy rivers, and a diverse range of pools catering to all ages.  

Attractions include:

  • Indoor kids’ water park (with child-friendly slides)
  • La Laguna de Woody (children’s splash play park)
  • Bahama Beach
  • El Galeón Pirata (children’s play pirate ship)
  • El Río Loco lazy river
  • Ciclón Tropical (100m multi-bump slide).
  • Rapid Race (side-by-side slide with foam mats)
  • King Khajuna (30m vertical drop, just 3m less than the Aqualandia VertiGO, Europe’s tallest slide)

Caribe Aquatic Park is part of a larger PortAventura World Resort complex.

Visitors can combine their water park experience with thrilling roller coasters and shows at PortAventura Theme Park. 

8. Parque Warner Beach (Madrid) 

Location: San Martin de la Vega, Madrid

Season: June-September (check website for specific dates as it can change)

This water park brings superhero and movie-themed water attractions, including Superman’s Metropolis Water Slide, a high-speed descent with special effects, and Looney Tunes splash zones for kids. It’s a perfect complement to Madrid’s famous Parque Warner.

The park also features a themed lazy river ride where visitors can drift through famous movie settings while cooling off.

Aquamijas is a relatively small but well-equipped and great park for families with younger children.  It offers a relaxed vibe with slides, pools, and mini golf.  There are also plenty of shaded areas for those looking to relax in between rides.

Bahia Park offers lush landscapes, an excellent lazy river, and thrilling rides like Gran Niagara with a near-vertical drop. One of the best-kept secrets in southern Spain!

The park’s beautifully designed tropical scenery makes it a fantastic place to relax while enjoying high-energy water rides. It’s a great alternative for those looking for a less crowded but equally exciting water park experience.
